GameSignal is operated by Gail Sparks, doing business as GameSignal (“GameSignal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you use the GameSignal website, contact form, dashboard, APIs, GitHub App, and related services.
1. Information we collect
- Contact information: your name, email address, and message when you use our contact form or contact us.
- Account information: Firebase account identifiers and authentication information, GitHub user identifiers, and account/organization ownership records needed to provide dashboard access.
- GitHub and service content: information from GitHub installations and activated repositories, including repository details, pull-request descriptions, commits, changed-file metadata and content, comments, settings, voice profiles, generated drafts, and workflow records.
- Billing information: subscription, payment-status, and Stripe customer/subscription identifiers. Payment-card information is processed by Stripe and is not stored by GameSignal.
- Technical and analytics information: IP address, browser/device information, website pages viewed, and limited dashboard feature-use events collected through server logs and Google Analytics 4. Dashboard analytics events do not include account, GitHub, repository, source-code, generated-content, payment, or raw error data.
2. How we use information
We use information to operate and secure the Service; authenticate dashboard users; connect authorized GitHub repositories; generate and revise requested content; provide support; process subscriptions; communicate about the Service; understand website and dashboard feature use; prevent abuse; comply with law; and enforce our Terms.
To generate AI-assisted content, we send relevant GitHub and service context to Google Gemini. Do not provide secrets, credentials, or other information you do not want processed through the Service.
3. How we disclose information
We disclose information only as needed to provide the Service, including to the following service providers: Google Cloud and Firebase for hosting, authentication, storage, and APIs; Google Gemini for AI processing; GitHub for connected-repository features; Stripe for payment processing; Resend for contact-email delivery; and Google Analytics for website and dashboard product analytics as described below. We may also disclose information when you direct us to do so, to comply with law or legal process, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Cookies and analytics
Our website and dashboard use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate product journeys, such as moving from the website into dashboard setup and using dashboard features. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies to collect browser, device, and interaction information. On the website, we use Google Consent Mode with analytics storage denied by default. Before you choose, and when you decline, Google may receive cookieless pings that support aggregate measurement and modeling; analytics storage is granted only after you accept. We do not send account identifiers, GitHub identifiers, repository identifiers, source code, generated content, payment data, or raw error messages to Google Analytics, and we do not use Google Analytics User-ID, Google Signals, or advertising personalization for this purpose. You can manage your website choice through the “Analytics Choices” control in the website footer and your dashboard choice through Dashboard Analytics settings; declining does not affect service functionality.
5. Retention
We retain account, repository configuration, generated content, and voice-profile data while your account is active. After a verified account-deletion request, we delete or de-identify this information within 30 days, except where retention is needed for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, backup expiry, or legal compliance. We retain contact-form messages for up to 24 months, security and operational logs for up to 90 days, backups for up to 90 days, and payment/tax records for seven years.
6. Your choices and privacy rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing gamesignalai@outlook.com or using our contact form. We may ask for information needed to verify your request. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You will not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights provided by law.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including to object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions and limitations.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International processing
GameSignal and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live.
9. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice when required by law.
For privacy questions or requests, email gamesignalai@outlook.com or use our contact form. Please also review our Terms of Service.
